Kentucky & Nashville
Friday, September 27, 2019 – Thursday, October 3, 2019
USA

Two cities, one great tour. Experience for yourself what makes Nashville special, Southern Hospitality, and a boundless spectrum of nightlife. Enjoy lunch at Ole Red, the restaurant that gets its name from Blake Shelton's breakout hit, "Ol' Red", and being there is a lot like hanging out with the guy himself, laid-back, and genuine. See the Grand Ole Opry with guest appearances by the biggest names in music. The Opry is the world's longest-running broadcast and shows no signs of slowing down. Stay at Opryland Hotel, with gorgeous botanical gardens, it is the largest non-gaming hotel in the continental US. Then we're off to Kentucky, known as the Bluegrass State, a diverse region of sprawling farmland, the birthplace of American horse racing and home to the world-famous Kentucky Derby. We will also visit the Kentucky Derby Museum, a real treat for any horse-racing fan. This museum celebrates the history of the most important equestrian event in the world. Baseball fans of all ages will have a blast at Louisville Slugger Museum! Kentucky is a great destination to experience all the flavours of Southern cooking. The state's fried chicken is the most famous across the world. Bowling Green is the home of the Corvette, and this museum will take you on a journey through the history of one of America's favourite sports cars. Gather all your friends and join Lakeshore Tours for some good ole Southern hospitality y'all!
