Christmas Evening in the City

December 13, 2016

$85.00 including HST

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, the city of Toronto transforms                                                     into a wonderland filled with sparkling lights, outdoor skating rinks, and                                                 festive window displays. Our tour begins with some Christmas                                                             shopping at the Eaton Centre, however the highlight of the tour is the                                                 Toronto Christmas Market. Inspired by the tradition of European                                                             Christkindlmarkt that originated in Germany in the 1400s, the Toronto                                                 Christmas Marker is a four-week long event celebrating all the sounds,                                                 sights, and scents of Christmas. Taking place in the Victorian-era,                                                         cobblestone-lined Distillery Historic District, this annual festive event                                                     brings local craftmakers, carolers, musicians, and artisanal food-makers                                                 together for a truly magical experience. Prior to the market we will                                                         enjoy an included delicious dinner at the Hot House Cafe. Out trip                                                         would not be complete without a glimpse of Toronto's famous                                                                 Christmas Tree at Nathan Phillips Square.
