Jim purchased the Bowmanville office in 1991 as a full service travel agency. Over the years the company has assisted thousands of travellers with their corporate, vacation and group travel needs. Jim established a retail tour operation in 1995 (Lakeshore Tours) with modest beginnings trying to provide the local market with group departures to Toronto theatre, Ontario sightseeing and sports tours. Today Lakeshore Tours & Travel offers hundreds of day excursions as well as longer duration tours throughout North America and internationally. Jim is always available at the Bowmanville office to assist you with your tour planning.

Marilyn Glassford
Tour Manager

Marilyn brings a wealth of hands on experience to the tour division of Lakeshore Tours & Travel. After graduating at the top of her class from Travel & Tourism at Toronto School of Business, Marilyn has worked in many facets of the motorcoach tour business including tour directing, tour building and charter sales. She strives to make Lakeshore Tours the best tour operator in Eastern Ontario and has helped Jim build a great team. Marilyn became part owner of the business in June 2009 and looks forward to serving our clients for many years to come.

Glenda Mowbray
Senior Travel Consultant

Glenda brings our team over 25years of experience in the industry. Glenda is experienced in corporate, leisure and group travel. She is also well versed in motor coach travel, such as our Lakeshore Tours Division. Glenda has enjoyed several cruises and has visited destinations in the Caribbean. Cuba, Mexico, Bahamas, Hawaii, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the ever popular Algarve in Portugal, as well as Disney World Florida and Disney Cruise. Her most recent ventures include a Royal Caribbean Cruise and an Alaska Group Cruise. Glenda lives locally and welcomes her past and previous clients for all their future travel plans.

Haley McIntyre
Travel Consultant

Haley is our most recent addition to the Lakeshore Tours team. Haley graduated from the Travel and Tourism program at Loyalist College. Her past travels have taken her to destinations such as Australia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Ireland, exploring North America and many European countries. Haley’s friendly personality and travel experience are guaranteed to make booking your next travel excursion an enjoyable experience.

Megan McNeill
Travel Consultant

Megan joined the Lakeshore Tours team in 2010. She graduated from the Travel and Tourism program at Centennial College. Megan’s past travel experiences encouraged her to pursue a career in the travel industry. Her education, skills, and personality have made her a welcome addition to the Lakeshore Tours team. Will be on maternity leave until January 2013. Welcome Aubree Jane!
